AUTHOR'S BOOKSTORE REGULATIONS


§1. General Provisions

The author's bookstore is available at: zamazaneobrazy.pl.
It is run by: Jan Balcewicz.

These regulations define the rules for using the bookstore and the terms of concluding sales agreements.
The bookstore conducts retail sales of books authored by the Seller.
The regulations are available free of charge on the bookstore's website.


§2. Definitions

Customer – a natural person, legal entity, or organizational unit making a purchase.
Consumer – a natural person making a purchase not directly related to business activity.
Author's Bookstore – the Seller's online bookstore.
Product – a book that is the Seller's original work.


§3. Placing Orders

Orders are placed via the form available on the bookstore's website.

To place an order, you must provide accurate information, including your shipping address.


§4. Prices and Payments

All prices are listed in Polish zloty and include applicable taxes.
Available payment methods: via payment service Stripe.
The Seller is not responsible for incorrect payments made by the Customer.


§5. Delivery

Products are delivered to the parcel locker address provided by the customer.
Standard order processing time is 3-5 business days.
In exceptional cases (e.g. large orders), the order processing time may change.
Shipping costs are provided before the order is placed.


§6. Right of withdrawal

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract (except for digital products) within 14 days without giving any reason.
The period begins on the date of receipt of the Product.
To withdraw from the contract, the consumer must submit a clear statement.

Returned books should be in unaltered, undamaged, and complete condition (no missing pages).

They must be free of any signs of use, in particular: no bent corners, no notes, underlining, or writing,

and no soiling or damage to the cover or spine.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned Product.
The cost of return is borne by the consumer.


§7. Personal data protection

The principles for processing personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy available on the bookstore's website (below the Regulations).


§8. Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are subject to Polish law.

In matters not regulated herein, generally applicable law shall apply.


§9. Regulations Changes

The Administrator reserves the right to change the Regulations.


PRIVACY POLICY


§1. Scope of data processed

Only the data required to process orders is processed:

  • name and surname
  • home/shipping address
  • email address
  • phone number


§2. Data processing purposes

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
fulfillment of the sales contract
order processing and shipping


§3. Legal basis

Data is processed on the basis of:

  • Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of the contract
  • Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – legal obligation


§4. Data recipients

Data may only be transferred to:

  • postal operators and courier companies
  • payment operators


§5. Voluntary provision of data

Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to complete the order.


§6. Rights of the data subject

Every person has the right to:

  • access their data
  • rectify it
  • delete it.


§7. No analytical tools

The bookstore does not use cookies for analytical, marketing, or advertising purposes. The website uses only essential cookies, which are used, among other things, to remember user preferences (e.g. language selection) and to manage the user session.


§8. Privacy Policy Changes

The Administrator reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy.
